Hermon Clean Team.
Hermon's "Clean Team" began in late 2002. Every first Saturday of the month a merry band of community volunteers put on their City gloves, grabbed their huge City bags and headed out all over Hermon to make it shine. It was only a couple of hours each month, but in a little more than a dozen years we had picked up over 900 bags (about 7 tons) of trash. There were also "Bulky Item Drop-Off's" that filled more than 12 giant City containers and special clean-ups with our Bushnell Way Elementary School and Hermon's charter high school students.
